The Los Angeles gallery AWHRHWAR will close this weekend, according to an announcement sent Friday. The artist-run gallery will shutter after final viewing hours for its current exhibition, a solo outing by Reto Pulfer, on Saturday.

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with many great artists and, in other endeavors, we look forward to working with many more,” read a brief message signed by the gallery’s founders: Aline Cautis, Sarah Conaway, Erik Frydenborg, and Nick Kramer.

The small space in L.A.’s Highland Park neighborhood hosted exhibitions for the past two years. Among the artists to have shown at the trendy gallery are EJ Hauser, Amanda Ross-Ho, and Harry Dodge.
