Il timore degli investitori \u00e8 che la crescita dei nuovi iscritti inferiore alle aspettative anticipi l\u2019eventualit\u00e0 che Netflix sia vicina o abbia addirittura gi\u00e0 raggiunto il suo \u201cpicco\u201d.<br \/>\nNel primo trimestre dell\u2019anno la societ\u00e0 ha aggiunto altri 4 milioni di iscritti, ovvero 2 milioni in meno rispetto alle sue stesse previsioni. Per la precisione: 3,98 milioni di utenti in pi\u00f9, contro i 6,2 milioni attesi (in questo caso dal consenso FactSet). Inoltre, la societ\u00e0 ha previsto un rallentamento dei nuovi abbonati nel secondo trimestre dell\u2019anno: la crescita scender\u00e0 a un milione. Ed \u00e8 su questo rallentamento che l\u2019attenzione degli investitori si \u00e8 concentrata nelle ultime ore a Wall Street. Anche perch\u00e9 \u00e8 facile immaginare che, con le progressive riaperture, l\u2019attrattiva dell\u2019intrattenimento da salotto andr\u00e0 a diminuire.<br \/>\nDifficile, per\u00f2, immaginare che nel dopo-Covid saranno in molti ad annullare l\u2019abbonamento a Netflix. Secondo un sondaggio condotto negli Usa da Hub Entertainment fra febbraio e marzo solo il 4% degli intervistati ha dichiarato convintamente che non avrebbe rinnovato il suo abbonamento a Netflix dopo la pandemia, contro un netto 73% che si \u00e8 espresso con decisione a favore del suo mantenimento. Solo gli utenti di Disney+, fra i competitor diretti, hanno dichiarato un attaccamento ancor superiore (77%).<br \/>\nAnche per queste ragioni la columnist di Bloomberg, Tara Lachapelle, ha sostenuto che la reazione dei mercati contro Netflix potrebbe essere stata esagerata.<br \/>\nPer i rialzisti sul titolo gli aspetti pi\u00f9 importanti da considerare sono le previsioni della societ\u00e0 sulla nuova accelerazione degli abbonati per la seconda met\u00e0 dell\u2019anno e l\u2019aumento dei ricavi medi. Negli Usa e in Canada l\u2019iscrizione costa 14,25 dollari al mese, ossia il 9% rispetto a un anno fa.
