Los millennials y centennials son los jueces m\u00e1s duros y necesitan acciones verdaderas para creer que las empresas tienen un prop\u00f3sito. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os algunas compa\u00f1\u00edas se han sumado a un movimiento poco \u00e9tico: <strong>el greenwashing<\/strong>. La idea es aparentar ser m\u00e1s respetuosos con el medio ambiente y hacer ver a los ciudadanos que son algo que no son en realidad. Un lavado de cara que ya no convence a los consumidores.<\/p>\n<p>Los j\u00f3venes son los que rigen ahora las tendencias y los que revolucionan el mundo en el que vivimos. Son ellos los que quieren que<strong> las marcas tengan un prop\u00f3sito<\/strong>, que sean \u00e9ticas, sostenibles y respetuosas con el medio que les rodea.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho existen varios informes que respaldan esta afirmaci\u00f3n. Seg\u00fan las conclusiones del I Estudio sobre &#8220;Engagement y vinculaci\u00f3n emocional en las redes sociales&#8221; el 86% de los consumidores espa\u00f1oles <strong>eligen empresas con conciencia social<\/strong>, vinculadas a valores como las acciones de defensa del medio ambiente, la inclusi\u00f3n laboral y el apoyo a diferentes acciones ben\u00e9ficas.<\/p>\n<p>En otro estudio, &#8220;Otro consumo para un futuro mejor&#8221; de la OCU y NESI Global Forum,<strong> el 73% de los encuestados declaraba tener en cuenta los prop\u00f3sitos \u00e9ticos y ecol\u00f3gicos<\/strong> a la hora de decantarse por un producto o marca y tomar sus decisiones de compra. De hecho, el 10% est\u00e1 dispuesto a pagar m\u00e1s por aquellos productos que sean \u00e9ticos, bio o eco.<\/p>\n<p>El problema viene cuando<strong> las empresas abanderan causas que no son suyas<\/strong>, que no van en su ADN, pese a que intentan demostrar lo contrario. Esa es la clave: los millennials y a los centennials ya no se f\u00edan y saben que el compromiso de esas compa\u00f1\u00edas no es tal.<\/p>\n<p>Un reciente estudio llevado a cabo en Estados Unidos por las consultoras BBMG y GlobeScan, asegura que los j\u00f3venes adscritos a la Generaci\u00f3n Z (uno de cada cinco) <strong>no conf\u00eda en que las empresas act\u00faen en favor del mejor inter\u00e9s de la sociedad<\/strong>. Esto se acent\u00faa cuando les preguntan por el nombre de una compa\u00f1\u00eda que abandere de verdad un prop\u00f3sito pol\u00edtico y social: uno de cada cuatro no saben responder.<\/p>\n<p>Pese a esto, es raro no encontrar a una compa\u00f1\u00eda que no intente abanderar un prop\u00f3sito: <strong>muchas venden sus productos o se venden a s\u00ed mismas como ecol\u00f3gicas<\/strong> o sostenibles con el \u00fanico objetivo de llegar a los millennials y a la Generaci\u00f3n Z y as\u00ed aumentar sus beneficios.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e1cticas como cambiar el etiquetado para parecer m\u00e1s ecofriendly, invertir miles de euros en<strong> intentar demostrar que una compa\u00f1\u00eda altamente contaminante no lo es<\/strong> y otras formas m\u00e1s de intentar enga\u00f1ar a los consumidores. A\u00fan as\u00ed, ya no caen en esas trampas y muchas son las compa\u00f1\u00edas que est\u00e1n dando un volantazo para intentar girar en la direcci\u00f3n opuesta al greenwashing.<\/p>\n<p>Justo la semana pasada 32 marcas de moda, algunas de ellas han estado en el punto de mira por <strong>malas pr\u00e1cticas en su producci\u00f3n<\/strong>, firmaban un pacto -Fashion Pact- con el que se comprometen a establecer objetivos cuantitativos concretos con los que hacer frente a los retos de la industria en materia de lucha contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico, cuidado de los oc\u00e9anos y conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad.<\/p>\n<p>Tal y como recoge el diario <em>El Mundo<\/em>, en Espa\u00f1a hay m\u00e1s ejemplos de empresas que est\u00e1n tomando el camino opuesto al greenwashing. En el \u00edndice de <em>Global 100 Most Sustainable Companies in the World<\/em> que realiza Corporate Knights este a\u00f1o se han colado 3 compa\u00f1\u00edas espa\u00f1olas: Industria de Dise\u00f1o y Textil (ropa y accesorios), en el puesto 54; Iberdrola, en el 61, y Acciona, en el 68.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n en el <em>Dow Jones Sustainability Index<\/em> (DJSI), elaborado por RobecoSAM desde hace 20 a\u00f1os,<strong> 20 entidades espa\u00f1olas empiezan a despuntar en el listado<\/strong>: Banco Santander, CaixaBank, BBVA, Red El\u00e9ctrica, Naturgy, Iberdrola, Bankinter, Endesa, Ferrovial, Gamesa, Enag\u00e1s, Inditex, Amadeus, Indra, Mapfre, Industria de Dise\u00f1o Textil&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Parece que la fuerza de los consumidores est\u00e1 funcionando y cada vez son m\u00e1s las empresas que quieren ser &#8216;green&#8217; de verdad y demostrarlo con sus acciones.
