(EUROPA PRESS) &#8211; <\/p>\n<p itemprop=\"description\">   La compa\u00f1\u00eda tecnol\u00f3gica Facebook, due\u00f1a de la red social del mismo nombre, ha subrayado que no lanzar\u00e1 Libra, su criptodivisa, hasta haber solventado las dudas regulatorias que penden sobre ella.<\/p>\n<p>   &#8220;Facebook no ofrecer\u00e1 la divisa digital Libra hasta haber solucionado al completo las dudas regulatorias y haber recibido las aprobaciones apropiadas&#8221;, ha indicado el presidente de Calibra, la filial de Facebook encargada de gestionar la criptodivisa, David Marcus, en un discurso publicado este lunes y que pronunciar\u00e1 ma\u00f1ana ante un comit\u00e9 del Senado de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>   El ejecutivo ha indicado que Facebook est\u00e1 de acuerdo con el presidente de la Reserva Federal (Fed), Jerome Powell, quien asegur\u00f3 que el proceso para examinar la divisa digital tiene que ser &#8220;paciente y riguroso&#8221;. &#8220;El tiempo entre este momento y el lanzamiento est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para ser un proceso abierto y sujeto al escrutinio regulatorio&#8221;, ha asegurado Marcus, que espera que sea el proceso de revisi\u00f3n &#8220;m\u00e1s amplio, extenso y cuidadoso&#8221; en la historia de las &#8216;fintech&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>   Desde que se anunci\u00f3 hace varias semanas, tres de los principales bancos centrales del mundo (la Reserva Federal, el Banco Central Europeo y el Banco de Inglaterra) han mostrado cautela ante los efectos que podr\u00eda tener en el mercado el lanzamiento de una criptodivisa por parte de un gigante como Facebook, as\u00ed como en su capacidad para implementar su pol\u00edtica monetaria.<\/p>\n<p>   A este respecto, Marcus ha subrayado que la Asociaci\u00f3n Libra, de la que formar\u00e1 parte Facebook junto con otras 27 empresas y que ser\u00e1 la encargada de gestionar la red &#8216;blockchain&#8217; de la criptodivisa, &#8220;no tiene intenci\u00f3n de competir con otras divisas soberanas o entrar en el terreno de juego de la pol\u00edtica monetaria&#8221;.
