As\u00ed lo concluye un reciente estudio de la plataforma de &#8220;ad intelligence&#8221; MediaRadar que identifica a <strong>Samsung, Toyota, Geico, Disney y Walmart<\/strong> como los anunciantes adscritos al universo del retail que m\u00e1s invierten a d\u00eda de hoy en YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Aun con el quebranto de la inversi\u00f3n publicitaria en YouTube durante los \u00faltimos meses el retail sigue aferrado al <strong>Top 3 de categor\u00edas que m\u00e1s gasto publicitario vuelcan en esta canal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conviene recalcar, eso s\u00ed, que s\u00f3lo el 13% de los aproximadamente 200 retailers evaluados en su informe por <strong>MediaRadar<\/strong> invirti\u00f3 m\u00e1s en YouTube durante los primeros cinco meses de 2019 que durante el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, las empresas emparentadas con la <strong>industria de los medios y el entretenimiento<\/strong> incrementaron su gasto publicitario en YouTube en un 3% en el periodo comprendido entre enero y mayo de 2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>El retail, en el Top 3 de los sectores de actividad que m\u00e1s invierten en YouTube<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>De hecho, m\u00e1s de la mitad de los ingresos publicitarios en YouTube echa ra\u00edces en las industrias de la tecnolog\u00eda y los medios y el entretenimiento.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan los datos manejados por MediaRadar, <strong>los canales con mayor fortaleza en YouTube son TheEllenShow, Linus Tech Tips, PewDiePie, WatchMojo y WWE.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Todd Krizelman, CEO de MediaRadar, est\u00e1 convencido de que la merma en el gasto publicitario de los retailers en YouTube no obedece en realidad a los cacareados problemas de esta plataforma con el &#8220;brand safety&#8221; (a los que la compa\u00f1\u00eda de Mountain View ha tratado, al fin y al cabo, de poner remedio). Y es m\u00e1s<strong> un reflejo de los momentos dif\u00edciles por los que est\u00e1 atravesando actualmente el comercio minorista<\/strong>. No en vano, s\u00f3lo en Estados Unidos m\u00e1s de 7.000 tiendas tienen previsto echar el cierre a lo largo de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Entre la largu\u00edsima retah\u00edla de desaf\u00edos a los que deben hacer frente los retailers destaca la competencia (en modo alguno sim\u00e9trica) ejercida desde gigantes del e-commerce como <strong>Amazon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para aupar sus ventas los retailers se est\u00e1n apoyando, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de en YouTube (que les procura quiz\u00e1s sobre todo y ante todo visibilidad), en redes sociales como <strong>Instagram<\/strong>.
