Recogemos los principales errores a evitar a la hora de elaborar un plan de marketing, la herramienta b\u00e1sica de gesti\u00f3n para que un negocio funcione.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

El plan de marketing es una herramienta que, a estas alturas de la pel\u00edcula, todo marketero sabe (o deber\u00eda saber) que es imprescindible para que un negocio funcione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la definici\u00f3n del estadounidense Philip Kotler, se trata de un “documento escrito que resume lo que el especialista en marketing ha aprendido sobre el mercado, que indica c\u00f3mo la empresa pretende alcanzar sus objetivos de marketing<\/strong> y que facilita, dirige y coordina los esfuerzos de marketing”.<\/p>\n

Hasta aqu\u00ed la teor\u00eda. Pero, \u00bfc\u00f3mo hacer un plan de marketing? A continuaci\u00f3n, recogemos los principales errores<\/strong> a evitar a la hora de elaborarlo.<\/p>\n

1. Pensar que no necesita un plan de marketing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parece muy obvio, pero comenzamos por este error porque hay quien piensa que, en este mundo hiperdigitalizado, ya no es necesario hacer un plan de marketing. En ese caso, lamentamos decirle que est\u00e1 muy equivocado y que, tal vez se ahorre el tiempo que tardar\u00e1 en leer esta lista, pero no contar con ese documento es una autopista directa al fracaso de su negocio. Para empezar, puede resultar muy pr\u00e1ctico recurrir a alguna de las plantillas de planes de marketing que hay disponibles en la red de manera gratuita.<\/p>\n

2. Creer que el plan de marketing dura para siempre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lo sentimos, pero en el marketing no hay amor eterno. Igual que el entorno cambia, el plan de marketing tambi\u00e9n, por eso es un documento que tiene una vigencia limitada, y que, con toda seguridad, tendr\u00e1 que volver a hacer cada a\u00f1o. Es imprescindible para que pueda funcionar.<\/p>\n

3. Improvisar la estrategia y los objetivos<\/strong><\/p>\n

En marketing, no todos los caminos llevan a Roma. S\u00ed puede haber m\u00e1s de un camino que le lleve hasta donde quiere ir, pero no se puede ir eligiendo sobre la marcha. De ah\u00ed la importancia de establecer cu\u00e1l es la estrategia general de su empresa y los objetivos que se marca para un plazo determinado.<\/p>\n

4. No analizarse internamente<\/strong><\/p>\n

Para elaborar un buen plan de marketing, hay que comenzar mir\u00e1ndose el ombligo. Solo as\u00ed podr\u00e1 conocer con qu\u00e9 recursos cuenta su empresa, qu\u00e9 caracter\u00edsticas espec\u00edficas tiene y c\u00f3mo se relaciona esto con la situaci\u00f3n del mercado.<\/p>\n

Una herramienta \u00fatil para este fin es el an\u00e1lisis DAFO (tambi\u00e9n denominado FODA), que ayuda a identificar las debilidades (D) de su organizaci\u00f3n y las amenazas (A) exteriores a las que se enfrenta, as\u00ed como las fortalezas (F) de su negocio y las oportunidades (O) que se le presentan en la situaci\u00f3n actual.<\/p>\n

5. Dirigirse “a todo el mundo”<\/strong><\/p>\n

No definir un p\u00fablico objetivo es pretender “matar moscas a ca\u00f1onazos”. Para conocer a su p\u00fablico objetivo primero tiene que identificar c\u00f3mo tu producto o servicio suple las necesidades de las personas y luego llegar a aquellas personas (y solo a aquellas) que necesitan una soluci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
