El nombramiento ser\u00e1 efectivo en julio tras su aprobaci\u00f3n por el consejo y por la junta general de accionistas<\/h3>\n

El presidente de Inditex, Pablo Isla, ha propuesto a Carlos Crespo, actual director general de operaciones de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, como consejero delegado de la firma textil, seg\u00fan ha informado la ense\u00f1a a la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).<\/p>\n
En concreto, este nombramiento ser\u00e1 efectivo tras su aprobaci\u00f3n por el consejo de administraci\u00f3n, una vez sea designado consejero por la junta general de accionistas, que se convocar\u00e1 en julio, donde se
proceder\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n a la reelecci\u00f3n de Pablo Isla como presidente ejecutivo de la firma.<\/p>\n
De esta forma, el gigante textil recupera la figura del consejero delegado con la designaci\u00f3n de Carlos Crespo, y la compa\u00f1\u00eda pasar\u00e1 a tener dos consejeros ejecutivos, ya que el consejo propondr\u00e1 en la junta elevar a 11 el n\u00famero de consejeros, mantendr\u00e1 en tres el n\u00famero de consejeros dominicales y seguir\u00e1 contando con una mayor\u00eda de seis consejeros independientes.<\/p>\n
Desde su nueva posici\u00f3n como consejero delegado, y reportando al presidente ejecutivo, Crespo ser\u00e1 responsable de las \u00e1reas de tecnolog\u00eda (sistemas, datos y digital), seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n, log\u00edstica y transporte, obras, asesor\u00eda jur\u00eddica, compras y contrataciones, y sostenibilidad, y ser\u00e1 el encargado de definir junto con Isla la estrategia global de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n
Crespo ha agradecido la confianza depositada en \u00e9l para ayudar a esta integraci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica. “Estoy muy ilusionado de poder participar en este momento de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, donde tanto la transformaci\u00f3n digital como la sostenibilidad en todas sus vertientes suponen retos apasionantes para cuyo desarrollo son imprescindibles innovaci\u00f3n, esp\u00edritu
emprendedor y trabajo en equipo, aspectos intr\u00ednsecos a la cultura de nuestra empresa”, ha indicado.<\/p>\n
Inditex ha precisado que la trayectoria de Carlos Crespo dentro del grupo de moda y su responsabilidad al frente de la direcci\u00f3n general de operaciones anticipaban de forma natural este nombramiento.<\/p>\n
Isla anunci\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado que las tiendas de Inditex ser\u00e1n plenamente digitales, integradas con ‘online’ y sostenibles en 2020. En ese momento, toda la tecnolog\u00eda RFID, que actualmente est\u00e1 ya completamente desplegada en Zara, Massimo Dutti y Uterq\u00fce, se terminar\u00e1 de implantar en el resto de tiendas y marcas del Grupo, hito que coincidir\u00e1 con la culminaci\u00f3n del programa de implantaci\u00f3n de tiendas ecoeficientes, completado hoy en un 86%.<\/p>\n
El presidente de Inditex ha indicado que la firma es una “gran empresa gracias al compromiso y al trabajo de todas las personas que formamos parte de ella” y ha destacado la “gran labor” que Crespo ha venido realizando en distintas \u00e1reas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, en particular como director general de operaciones, y ha subrayado que su aportaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 muy valiosa “en el momento estrat\u00e9gico actual de transformaci\u00f3n digital
y de compromiso con la sostenibilidad de la compa\u00f1\u00eda”.<\/p>\n
Para conseguir este objetivo, Inditex ha desarrollado desde 2012 un plan de optimizaci\u00f3n de tiendas que ha permitido la adaptaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica del 90% del parque de tiendas con un total de 3.364 aperturas brutas, 3.383 reformas y ampliaciones, y 1.400 absorciones de unidades m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as en los \u00faltimos seis a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
