La cotizaci\u00f3n de las acciones de Deutsche Bank marcaba m\u00ednimos hist\u00f3ricos este jueves tras perder la cota de los 6,40 euros al tiempo que el consejero delegado de la entidad, Christian Sewing, anunciaba que el banco est\u00e1 preparado para acometer “duros recortes” en su divisi\u00f3n de inversi\u00f3n con el objetivo de acelerar la transformaci\u00f3n del enfoque de la entidad hacia negocios rentables y en crecimiento.<\/p>\n
“Puedo asegurarles que estamos preparados para realizar duros recortes”, ha afirmado Sewing durante su intervenci\u00f3n inicial al comienzo de la junta general de accionistas que Deutsche Bank ha celebrado este jueves.<\/p>\n
En su discurso, el primer ejecutivo de Deutsche Bank ha indicado que la entidad analizar\u00e1 muy de cerca cuestiones como la rentabilidad del negocio de banca de inversi\u00f3n, a\u00f1adiendo que ser\u00e1n “tan disciplinados e intransigentes” en esta cuesti\u00f3n como lo son en lo que respecta a los costes.<\/p>\n
“Esto significa que vamos a restringir a\u00fan m\u00e1s nuestra asignaci\u00f3n de capital”, ha apuntado Sewing, subrayando su compromiso de acelerar la transformaci\u00f3n, enfocando rigurosamente al banco en negocios rentables y en crecimiento que sean particularmente relevantes para los clientes.<\/p>\n
En cuanto a los frustrados planes de fusi\u00f3n del banco con Commerzbank, su competidor m\u00e1s inmediato en Alemania, el consejero delegado de Deutsche Bank ha explicado que no haber explorado la posibilidad de una fusi\u00f3n, finalmente descartada, habr\u00eda sido “negligente”. “Entrar en las conversaciones fue lo correcto”, ha a\u00f1adido.<\/p>\n
“El panorama bancario europeo est\u00e1 demasiado fragmentado y hay mucho a favor de la consolidaci\u00f3n. Si hab\u00eda la posibilidad de fusionarse con el segundo banco de Alemania es una oportunidad que hab\u00eda que investigar”, ha se\u00f1alado.<\/p>\n
CA\u00cdDA DE LA ACCI\u00d3N.<\/h2>\n
En lo que va de a\u00f1o, los t\u00edtulos del mayor banco de Alemania han perdido un 8,9% de su valor, aunque en los \u00faltimos doce meses su precio ha bajado un 41,7%, llegando a marcar durante la sesi\u00f3n de este jueves un m\u00ednimo intrad\u00eda de 6,35 euros, lejos de los m\u00e1s de 90 euros que lleg\u00f3 a alcanzar antes del estallido de la crisis en 2007.<\/p>\n
De este modo, la capitalizaci\u00f3n burs\u00e1til de Deutsche Bank supera por poco los 13.000 millones de euros, lejos de los grandes colosos europeos del sector como HSBC, con m\u00e1s de 130.000 millones, o los espa\u00f1oles Santander, con 65.555 millones, o BBVA, con unos 34.000 millones.<\/p>\n
Deutsche Bank obtuvo un beneficio neto atribuible de 178 millones de euros en el primer trimestre de 2019, un incremento del 48,3% en comparaci\u00f3n con sus ganancias en el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior, mientras que su cifra de negocio entre enero y marzo registr\u00f3 un retroceso del 8,9%, hasta 6.351 millones de euros.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
