(EUROPA PRESS) &#8211;<br \/>\n   El grupo IAG, del que forman parte Iberia, Vueling y British Airways, celebrar\u00e1 su junta general ordinaria de accionistas los pr\u00f3ximos 16 y 17 de junio, en primera y segunda convocatoria, en la que se votar\u00e1 la reelecci\u00f3n de Luis Gallego como consejero ejecutivo.<br \/>\n   Luis Gallego asumi\u00f3 el cargo de consejero delegado de IAG en septiembre de 2020 en sustituci\u00f3n de Willie Walsh, que se retir\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de nueve a\u00f1os como m\u00e1ximo ejecutivo de IAG.<br \/>\n   Con anterioridad, Luis Gallego fue presidente y consejero delegado de Iberia desde 2013. Entre los a\u00f1os 2006 y 2009, tambi\u00e9n fue uno de los fundadores de Clickair, una aerol\u00ednea de bajo coste que, hasta su fusi\u00f3n con Vueling, fue la compa\u00f1\u00eda de m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido crecimiento en Europa. Gallego, que comenz\u00f3 su carrera profesional en BDE (Indra), ocup\u00f3 posteriormente diversos cargos en Air Nostrum entre 1997 y 2006.<br \/>\n   Tambi\u00e9n se someter\u00e1 a votaci\u00f3n el nombramiento de Maurice Lam como consejero no ejecutivo independiente, las reelecciones de tres consejeros no ejecutivos independientes, la ratificaci\u00f3n del nombramiento por cooptaci\u00f3n de tres consejeras no ejecutivas independientes y el acuerdo sobre las remuneraciones de los consejeros.<br \/>\n   Debido a la situaci\u00f3n excepcional derivada del Covid-19, se ha acordado que la asistencia a la junta general ordinaria de accionistas se realice preferentemente por los medios telem\u00e1ticos previstos en esta convocatoria.<br \/>\n   Seg\u00fan recoge el orden del d\u00eda de junta trasladada por la empresa este jueves a la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), entre las propuestas a votaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se incluye las cuentas anuales correspondientes al ejercicio de 2020, la aplicaci\u00f3n del resultado del a\u00f1o pasado, la aprobaci\u00f3n del plan de incentivos para Ejecutivos de IAG y asignaci\u00f3n de un n\u00famero m\u00e1ximo de acciones de la Sociedad al plan y la modificaci\u00f3n de los estatutos sociales y del reglamento de la junta de accionistas.<br \/>\n   Asimismo, se votar\u00e1 la la modificaci\u00f3n de los estatutos sociales y del reglamento de la junta de accionistas, por la que, entre otras cosas, se plantea reducir, del 50% al 20%, el l\u00edmite del aumento del capital social o de la emisi\u00f3n de valores convertibles, cuando el consejo de administraci\u00f3n excluya el derecho de suscripci\u00f3n preferente al amparo de la autorizaci\u00f3n de la junta.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<!--noindex--><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europapress.es\/turismo\/transportes\/aerolineas\/noticia-junta-general-accionistas-iag-votara-reeleccion-luis-gallego-consejero-ejecutivo-20210506175428.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">Source link <\/a><br \/>\n<!--\/noindex--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MADRID, 6 May.
