Sin embargo, al otro lado del charco los podcasts son ya un fen\u00f3meno mainstream. En Estados Unidos la mayor parte de los estadounidenses de m\u00e1s de 12 a\u00f1os de edad dice escuchar podcasts con periodicidad semanal. Y seg\u00fan un reciente estudio de Adobe, el 52% de los entusiastas de los podcasts se entregan a los placeres de este formato mientras se desplazan al trabajo y tambi\u00e9n incluso en horario laboral.<br \/>\nEn su informe Adobe entrevist\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 1.000 consumidores estadounidenses mayores de 18 a\u00f1os que se jactaban de escuchar con relativa frecuencia podcasts y\/o audiolibros. El 52% de los entrevistados se zambulle en las aguas del &#8220;podcasting&#8221; en la intimidad de su autom\u00f3vil, mientras que el 18% lo hace mientras est\u00e1 de viaje a bordo de un avi\u00f3n.<br \/>\nEl 16% de los estadounidenses escucha asimismo los podcasts cuando est\u00e1 de vacaciones y otro 16% lo hace mientras practica ejercicio en el gimnasio.<br \/>\nComplacido con el contenido que le brindan los podcasts, el 45% de los consumidores tiene intenci\u00f3n de escuchar m\u00e1s contenido en este formato en el futuro (lo cual se trata obviamente de una buen\u00edsima noticia para los anunciantes).<br \/>\nAunque son a veces burlados por la audiencia, los anuncios en los podcasts disfrutan en t\u00e9rminos generales de su simpat\u00eda<br \/>\nAun as\u00ed, y antes de que los anunciantes lancen las campanas al vuelo, conviene aclarar que el 58% de los consumidores confiesa haber esquivado de manera activa en alguna ocasi\u00f3n los anuncios insertados en un podcast.<br \/>\nDe todas formas, 3 de cada 5 consumidores admiten haberse tomado la molestia de buscar productos y servicios tras escuchar un anuncio en un podcast. Y no s\u00f3lo eso. Casi una cuarta parte ha llegado al extremo de formalizar alguna compra tras enfrentarse a la publicidad agazapada en un podcast.<br \/>\nEntre el 72% de los consumidores que dicen haber escuchado alg\u00fan anuncio durante la emisi\u00f3n de un podcast, 1 de cada 3 cree que esta f\u00f3rmula publicitaria es m\u00e1s atractiva que en otros canales. Y 2 de cada 5 consumidores tienen el convencimiento de la publicidad en los podcasts en menos intrusiva que en otras plataformas.
