Aquellas empresas que hagan caso omiso a la sostenibilidad est\u00e1n abocadas a morder del polvo m\u00e1s pronto que tarde.\u00a0Esta es la conclusi\u00f3n que puede extraerse al menos de una mesa redonda celebrada hoy en el marco de DMEXCO en la que han tomado parte Hannah Wickes, CMO de Ecosia, Bart Manuel, cofundador de Dept, y Mark Haviland, EVP Brand Development &amp; Sustainability EMEA de Rakuten.<br \/>\nLos ponentes han coincidido en se\u00f1alar que la sostenibilidad en clave empresarial no significa simple y \u00fanicamente producir menos residuos. Se trata tambi\u00e9n de animar a los clientes y a los propios empleados a sensibilizarse sobre este tema y a poner en pr\u00e1ctica un comportamiento verdaderamente sostenible. La sostenibilidad implica tambi\u00e9n aprender a decir a &#8220;no&#8221; a determinados encargos, incluso a aquellos que van a poner a priori ping\u00fces beneficios sobre la mesa.<br \/>\nAun as\u00ed, y pese a que caminar por la senda de la sostenibilidad no es f\u00e1cil ni mucho menos (sobre todo al principio), abrazarla vale la pena a largo plazo. Aquellas compa\u00f1\u00edas que ignoran el cambio clim\u00e1tico se arriesgan a padecer da\u00f1os irreparables en su imagen y a quedarse compuestas y sin un buen pu\u00f1ado de clientes, han recalcado los participantes en el debate.<br \/>\nLa sostenibilidad no es una opci\u00f3n, es una obligaci\u00f3n para las empresas<br \/>\nEnarbolando la bandera de la sostenibilidad las empresas (ya sean grandes o peque\u00f1as) tienen much\u00edsimo que ganar. Al fin y al cabo, cada vez m\u00e1s consumidores toman en consideraci\u00f3n la sostenibilidad de las empresas a la hora de tomar decisiones de compra (y est\u00e1n adem\u00e1s dispuestos a invertir m\u00e1s en aquellos productos y servicios que se precian de sostenibles).<br \/>\nA juicio de Haviland es responsabilidad y obligaci\u00f3n de las empresas cambiar comportamientos que son extraordinariamente da\u00f1inos para el medio ambiente. Y de igual modo que las compa\u00f1\u00edas deben promover la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en sus propios dominios (sobre todo en los estamentos directivos), est\u00e1n obligadas tambi\u00e9n a alzar la voz en pro del castigad\u00edsimo planeta Tierra.
